O_VERLOAD (2024)

O_VERLOAD is an environment of sound, light, and voice – a long-term performance where the human and the all-too-human struggle with one another.

This work is a collaboration with Luca Wielage (stage, design) and Paul Zoder (electronics, concept).

In various modules that can be interconnected, pre-composed and improvisational elements intertwine. Paul disciplines the machine through coding (PD), yet becomes entangled in its interplay. Hannah balances the machine's demands with the precision of her vocal artistry. Luca shapes the atmosphere of the space through installations that merge analog and digital media. The essence lies in multitasking: a balancing act between the artistic intelligence of human provenance and the all-calculating yet unfocused artificial intelligence of non-human agents.

The piece premiered at INMM Darmstadt in April 2024 and is now documented in the collected volume künstlerisch intelligent (INMM Darmstadt, Band 64).
